Snooker API mcp

Connecting an assistant to the Snooker API.

The MCP server puts the Snooker API into an assistant as tools: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code call it with your key and answer snooker questions from the data. Its address is https://snookerapi.net/mcp.

Clients that take a header (Claude Code, Cursor and most desktop clients) connect now: the address, and your key as Authorization: Bearer. For Claude Code:

Claude.ai and ChatGPT connectors sign in with OAuth instead of a header; that sign-in opens with the paid plans. Every call is a normal API call on your key, so its plan and limits apply. Every tool and the endpoint behind it is on MCP tools.

Example: asked "who won the 2024 world final, and what was his best break in it?", the assistant calls find_events, then get_match, and answers from the frames.
