1. What we keep
- Your account: email address, name and plan, from your Google sign-in.
- Your API keys, only as a fingerprint, never the key itself.
- Usage counts: calls per key per day, and errors.
- Webhook addresses you add, their signing secrets (kept encrypted), and a log of each delivery, kept 30 days.
- Support tickets.
- Page and API logs: the page asked for, the site that linked to it, the browser's own description of itself, the address it came from and its country.
2. Card details
Never held by us. Stripe takes the payment and keeps the card.
3. Why we keep it
To run the API, bill it, answer support, stop abuse and keep it secure. Nothing is sold, and there is no advertising tracking.
4. Who else handles it
- Stripe, for payments.
- Cloudflare, for the network and security.
- Our email provider, through Developer Data, for sign-in and account emails.
- Google, for signing in with Google.
- Our hosting company, which runs the servers.
5. Cookies
- snk_sess: keeps you signed in. Only a fingerprint of it is stored on our side.
- snk_out: remembers that you signed out, so Google does not sign you straight back in.
- ap_click: first-party, it remembers which partner sent you so the partner can be credited for a purchase. It holds no personal details and lasts 60 days; a newer partner link replaces it.
- No third-party analytics cookies. The documentation keeps your key in your own browser so the examples run; it never leaves your browser except in your own calls.
6. How long it is kept
- Your account and keys: while the account is open.
- After the account is deleted: gone within 30 days, backups included.
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after the account is deleted.
- Page, API and security logs: 30 days.
- Support tickets: while the account is open, then deleted with it.
7. Your rights
To see what we hold, have it corrected, take a copy, or have it deleted. Ask through /support; we answer within 30 days.
8. Deleting your account
From your account page: Delete my account. Your subscription is cancelled at once (the unused part is not refunded), every key stops working, you are signed out, and the account is deleted within 30 days. Billing records stay as the law requires.
9. Children
Not for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
Posted here with the date; a change that matters is emailed first.
